Braum

The most impactful factors when assessing a champion’s balance changes are base stats, base damage, and ultimate cooldown. Scaling (ratios) is secondary.

This patch, Braum received a flat -5 base armor nerf, making him one of the most clearly nerfed champions in patch 25.14.

Recently, Braum was positioned as the strongest meta support, sitting between utility/damage enchanters and tank engage supports (Leona, Nautilus, Thresh).

This rise was fueled by sustained nerfs to tank engage champions and the decline of ADCs that synergize well with enchanters.

Additionally, the recent buff to the Font of Life rune synergized perfectly with Braum, who can easily trigger it with Q.

Even though Braum generally has a favorable matchup into most engage supports, his reactive kit meant that champions like Leona and Nautilus were still viable picks against him.

However, this armor nerf is a significant hit that affects both the laning phase and skirmishes. A drop in win rate is expected, and it is possible that future patches will bring compensating buffs such as adjustments to skill damage.

Fizz

Fizz has been absent from the meta for quite some time.

His kit is naturally countered by the Resolve tree, especially runes like Bone Plating and Unflinching.

System changes since the release of Crown of the Shattered Queen have also pushed him further out of favor.

This patch included buffs to W and E, but since they were scaling adjustments rather than base damage increases, the practical impact is minimal.

Fizz struggles heavily before level 3. He often uses E just to farm, suffers from mana issues, and is forced into awkward rune or item choices.

Unless he receives direct buffs to base stats, damage, or sustain, a meaningful increase in win rate is unlikely.

Kled

The patch notes for Kled are lengthy, but most of the changes are related to scaling adjustments rather than direct buffs to base damage or stats.

The core change is a buff to his durability while dismounted, aimed at improving his ability to stay in fights, survive longer, and re-mount more reliably.

He is not immediately stronger, but if paired with lifesteal items or specific rune setups, Kled could rise in tier. Further tuning may follow depending on how he performs in future data.

Darius & Fiora

Both champions are designed for side lane pressure and 1vX scenarios.

This patch brought improvements to the base effects of Darius’s Q and Fiora’s ultimate. While the numbers are not massive, they improve each champion’s ability to create impact in both teamfights and outnumbered situations.

Since these skills are core to their kits, players will likely feel the buffs clearly. For mains of these champions, this patch should be seen as a welcome set of changes.
