Bait refers to intentionally luring an enemy into a disadvantageous situation by making them believe they have an opportunity to win a fight or secure a kill. Baiting is most effective when paired with strong vision control and timely coordination with the jungler. Properly executed bait often leads to successful Gank setups or forces opponents into overextending during lane trades. However, poorly executed baiting can result in being caught without backup, especially if the opposing team has strong CC or burst damage.
